Open Saturday’s 7am-11am. Local farms & food vendors. Gorgeous panoramic views.
Surf Lesson / SUP
Grab a group or private surf lesson. If surfing is not your thing try renting or taking a Stand Up Paddle Board lesson. (Aloha tip- do not schedule your surf lesson the morning after a Luau). Here are two of my favorite surf schools: Hang Loose Surf Club, Maui Surfer Girls
Snorkeling
Rent snorkel gear or take a snorkeling tour. My goal is to always see sea turtles while in Maui.. Here are the best places to snorkel: Kapalua Bay, Kaanapali Beach – Black Rock, Honolua Bay, Molokini (the clearest water in Maui). My favorite tour is through Pacific Whale Foundation– explore Molokini and the turtle arches while enjoying a delicious bbq lunch on the boat.
Luau
A trip to Maui is never complete without a traditional Hawaiian Luau. Great activity for the entire family no matter what age. Check out the Old Lahaina Luau for a beachside dinner & a show amid tiki torches. Another great option is The Myths of Maui Luau. Enjoy the island vibes in a colorful array of song, dance, traditions and cuisine. Don’t miss the fire dancer finale.
Sunset Catamaran Cruise
Enjoy the thrill of sailing between the islands of Maui, Molokai and Lanai. On board a state of the art catamaran, sip on refreshing beverages while taking in breathtaking West Maui coastal views. Check out Teralani to book your dinner or sunset cocktail cruise.
Outrigger Canoe
Great way to discover the ocean and experience Hawaiian culture. Great for families, couples and groups. Check out Ali’i Maui Outrigger Canoes to book a tour.
Experience the workings of a real life pineapple farm and get a FREE pineapple. Don’t forget to book the tour with lunch or the Distillery to try to some local spirits.
Take a trip to Upcountry and get greeted with french press coffee to start your day. Get a history of Maui coffee and the “seed to cup” process while strolling through the orchard. Enjoy a farm-to-table breakfast or lunch. Book in advance as it tends to fill up.
Brewery/Winery
Check out Maui Brewery Co. for a 60-minute guided tour providing an up-close glimpse of the brewhouse, cellar and packaging line. The tour ends with a tasting of their flagship beers. If you’re more into wine head to Maui Wine and check out their historic King’s Cottage tasting room.
